Our European retreats have become a highlight of the year, and we are excited to be taking Movement Method to the island of Mallorca, Spain in fall 2027. Sun-drenched coves, rugged mountain trails and slow Mediterranean mornings: Mallorca is the island where you come to move well and leave feeling restored.

The venue is Sanau Retreats in the heart of Mallorca. We have booked both villas on the property (Sanau and Son Sion), so we’ll have plenty of space all to ourselves. A private chef will be creating gourmet meals for brunch and dinner, which we’ll share in the beautiful outdoor dining area. Take a journey through the photographs on the Sanau and Son Sion websites to see the stunning villas, a glimpse into the rooms, the gardens, pools, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces and the beautiful practice space.

This retreat is your invitation to recharge, move with intention, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and slow rhythms of the Mediterranean. There will be 2 classes offered most days, which will be an exploration of breath and movement mechanics weaved into the flow of Yoga. We’ll take a couple of afternoons off to allow more space to explore the island.

All rooms have twin beds that can be put together to create one king size bed.

PAYMENTS AND POLICIES

  • A non- refundable 500 euro deposit will hold your spot.

  • Final Payment is due by August 1, 2027.

  • If you cancel 60 days prior to the start of the retreat, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • For cancellations within 60 days, you will not receive a refund.

  • Canadians, our preferred method of payment is email transfer to kkgillespie@gmail.com. Convert your balance to CAD.

  • Americans, our preferred method of payment is through Zelle to matt.phippen@gmail.com or Venmo @Matthew-Phippen. Convert your balance to USD

  • International friends, our preferred method is Wise.

  • We can also accept credit card payments with a fee of 2.9%.

GETTING THERE

  • The airport is called Palma de Mallorca (PMI).

  • There are seasonal direct flights from Montreal and New York to PMI, and also several European hubs you can travel through.

  • Sanau Retreats is located about 30 minutes from the airport by car.

  • You may choose to rent a car to explore the island throughout the week, or use taxis. A taxi from the airport is around 50 € and we can help you book in advance.

  • Check in is 3pm on Saturday, October 9th.

  • Check out is 10am on Saturday, October 17th.
