Asana Practice and Technique - for some of you this training will be first and foremost an augmentation of your existing practice. Expect to dive deep into Asana, Pranayama and Meditation.

Teaching Deconstruction and Methodology - Even if you don’t want to be a teacher, it is very helpful to know more about WHY we do the things we do in a Yoga class. Expect to learn in-depth sequencing principles, proper alignment, intelligent languaging, rhythm, and a myriad of insightful teaching skills.

Sequencing Methodology - Wanderlust sequencing is inspired by the alignment and precision of Iyengar Yoga and the fluid nature of Vinyasa. Learn how to curate creative and intelligent sequences; how to teach beginners, the art of managing an all-levels class, and how to keep your students safe.

Poses, Posture and Relationship Through Form - Alignment in your yoga practice will inform alignment in your everyday life. Isolating and dissecting individual poses; how they relate to other postures, and how they relate to YOU will be a daily endeavour.

Anatomy and Physiology - A practical and in-depth exploration of the muscles, bones, fascia, and organs of the human body,

Insightful Adjustments - In addition to developing a keen and observant eye and clear languaging, manual adjustments are an important part of teaching your students how to move and align their bodies. The power of touch is extremely impactful, and can give your students an experience they didn't even realize they weren't having.

Vinyasa Rx - Learn about common misalignments and how to prevent injuries and pain. Become aware of how to repair common Yoga injuries and how to build specific strength to avoid them.

Practicum - You will have plenty of opportunities to practice your teaching skills. You will also spend time observing your peers teaching, which is a huge part of the learning process.

The Roots of Yoga - History, the evolution of modern yoga, and philosophy.

The Business of Yoga - You will leave this training with coaching on how and where to begin your journey as a teacher.
